While you were sitting in the backseat smoking a cigarette you thought was going to be your last, I was falling deep, deeply in love with you and I never told you until just now.
Y’know, I don’t think I need to explain the things I associate with this song to anyone, but that little film reel running through my head makes me pretty happy.
I know exactly where it is. I am always on my way, but the journey’s gotten much shorter as of late.
I miss my hometown and everyone I left behind. Make no mistake about that. I miss everyone so much, and it hurts like a motherfucker. However, I have a new home now: La Jolla, California. There’s nothing I can do to change that. Stop blaming me for doing something you encouraged me to do just a few months ago. And for Christ’s consumptive sake, don’t forget to hang up the phone and let me hear you saying things like that.
That’s what my pissed-off skater girl alter ego needed to get off her chest tonight. She’s hanging around in a reconstructed Misfits tee and Shake Junt hat, feeling badass and pissed off because she doesn’t have her board and her boyfriend is an idiot.
The two of us are hanging out in the secret lair (aka my dorm) writing in a fun little story between Psuedo and Nym Orwell (aka Donya and me). We have no other plans for the night and start fall classes tomorrow. We are also very emotional because we miss our family and our friends, and want them to come visit us because there is no possible way for us to go home right now, and we can’t give up our dreams to transfer to a university closer to home, as much as we’d like to. We would like to apologize for any inconvenience we have caused by making this decision, although we were assisted and encouraged by the very people now cursing us behind our backs.
